Teachers The SwimEasy Way

Our aim is to provide and produce the very best swimming teachers in the country. We will achieve this by continual assessment and regular training both on-the-job and at regular theory clinics. Our teachers are reminded constantly of any latest up dates in teaching practices and these are delivered on a regular basis. We encourage our teachers to be aware of activity levels of the children taking part in their classes. This ensures continuity and guarantees proper progression

We allocate a coordinator to each pool venue who ensures that constant feed back is provided to individual teachers regarding individual performance levels. The coordinators liaise between children, teacher, and parent on the pool side and report to the general office and management staff on the dry side. The coordinator ensures that all lessons run smoothly and efficiently.

Our teachers are graded as Trainees, Levels 1 and 2 for the Teaching of Swimming Certification. Club Coach Certificate and Coach Certificate.

We also employ a Risk Assessment, Health and Safety, and Child Protection Coordinator to work at certain venues. This officer oversees ensures that all the companies’ policies and requirements are adhered to properly. In addition all staff working directly for SwimEasy or who are self employed are registered with Disclosure Scotland (criminal records office)
