Entrance and Parking
From Warrender Park Road turn into Lauderdale Street. Enter through school gates and into the parking area or drive up one level into the playground. Parking should only be within allocated spaces. Please remember that this is a school facility and it is essential that drivers adhere to the speed limits while in the school grounds. Consideration at all times must be given to the pupils attending our classes and the pupils within the school. You can enter the pool either through the main school entrance walking past the school assembly hall and turn right. The alternative is to walk down the pathway to the right hand side of the main building and enter the red door which takes you into the sports department; the pool changing rooms are to your left.

Pool
20 metres x 4 lanes
Average Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius

Changing Rooms
Separate male and female with individual cubicles and a shower area. The pool entrance is via the changing rooms.

Meeting Point for children
Children will be met by the lesson Progress Advisor at the entrance to the pool (note that there are two entrances via both the boys and the girls changing room). Children will be returned to this area at the end of the lesson. Seating is available at the shallow end of the pool for children to assemble before the lesson begins. Children are escorted to either the shallow end or the deep end of the pool depending on which level of class they are in.

Viewing
The rule at this facility is that no parents are permitted onto the poolside (parents are able to observe from outside where large windows allow for ample viewing). This is for safety, noise, lack of space, and for insurance purposes. We do allow the parents the opportunity to monitor their child’s progression. Parents are free to communicate with the lesson Progress Advisor regarding their child's progress.

Hygiene
All children must shower, blow their noses and go to the toilet before entering the pool.

Personal Equipment
Compulsory: Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts are allowed as they restrict leg movement.
All children must wear their SwimEasy swim cap to prevent distractions and for pool cleanliness. Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting preferably one size smaller than normal. Towel
Recommended: Pool Shoes, Robe, T-Shirt
