SwimFast Squads The SwimEasy Way
The SwimFast stage of swimming development is geared to further swimming stroke techniques to the maximum. The teaching will allow all children to develop more advanced technical skills.
Children who have taken our lessons at this stage have advanced their four swimming strokes further than most parents could ever have imagined.
The sense of achievement is enormous for a child with the joy of mastering the Front Crawl smoothly with a hidden intake of breath: the satisfaction of doing Backstroke: employing the correct body position and just slipping through the water: the grace of Breaststroke using the correct timing and achieving maximum propulsion and the satisfaction of swimming Butterfly and merely gliding through and over the water. This provides proof of the progress that can be made.
Parents of the children who have reached this level of competence will confirm that, through good and professional coaching and teaching that they have witnessed their child achieving and perfecting extremely complex skills. Each squad at this stage make full use of the pool. Given that all the children are at the same or very similar level we can take them out of the main swimming lessons process and advance them onto specific stroke development work.
There are other classes available in and around Edinburgh where stroke development work can be delivered but not to this high standard. We have the very best teachers and coaches, a number of whom continue to coach swimming at the very highest level. Your child will not simply be taught by swimming teachers with limited experience of this level of swimming and who have little knowlege of the technical requirements needed, to advance children further on all four strokes.
With our teaching and coaching assistance many children surpass expectations and advance further in the sport and progress into Club swimming with Warrender Baths Club with whom SwimEasy is directly linked.
Swimming clubs like Warrender allow children to go on and fulfil their true potential and in time they could become Commonwealth or Olympic representatives. It is not uncommon for our coaches to take children all the way to the top and work with them throughout their swimming career.
