SwimFaster

What happens after SwimFast?

SwimEasy has introduced a specially designed Programme, SwimFaster, which offers a further planned phase of swimming growth to a specially selected few (up to 20 swimmers) to enhance all skills and fitness levels.

The specifically identified swimmers are invited to SwimFaster following a selection process by our specialist coaches and manager and invitations are offered to swimmers who have completed at least one term of SwimFast and who have shown potential and excellence and are ready to progress to the next stage of swimming development.

SwimFaster will consist of 2 dedicated 1 hour sessions every week and will be based at the Royal Blind School, Edinburgh on Mondays (19:00-20:00) and Thursdays (18:15-19:15). On successful completion of the programme swimmers will be well prepared to enter club swimming (Warrender Baths Club or a club of choice in the area) which provides an opportunity for swimmers to progress in time to Scottish and GB National, European, Commonwealth and Olympic Games or World Championship levels.

Important points to note.

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to start time in order to participate in pre-swim warm up exercises.
  • Try to attend every session as greater progression will result. Notify coaching staff of any likely absence well in advance.
  • Participate in assessments and competitive opportunities and time trials to assist bonding and team building.

Squad numbers will be limited and coaching staff are all specialists; cost reflects attending twice weekly.

SwimEasy Rate: £159.60 (inclusive of VAT).
