Meeting Point Children
Children will be met by the pool coordinators at the entrance to the pool. (Note that there are two entrances via both the boys and the girls changing room.) Children will be returned to this area at the end of the lesson. Seating is available at the shallow end of the pool for children to assemble before the lesson begins. Children are escorted to either the shallow end or the deep end of the pool depending on which level of class they are in.
Viewing
The rule at this facility is that no parents are permitted onto the poolside. Permission is granted on conditions. Parents must wait until children are organised into their various groups. After children have entered the water parents can sit and watch. Lack of space can cause congestion at the shallow end of the pool, so please make sure that children who attend the Learner and Improver classes go straight to the deep end. Parents should take off their shoes when entering the pool area.

All children must, blow their noses and go to the toilet before entering the pool. The changing areas are used extensively during the day by the school pupils and no cleaning of changing rooms will be completed prior to classes starting. Water quality is checked on a regular basis during each day.
