Directions to Riverside Pool

From the train station, turn over the bridge, at the traffic lights, towards Riverside.

Travel down to the new mini roundabout and keep left.

Turn first left into Forth Street.

From Causewayhead direction travel along Causewayhead Road until you get to the mini roundabout at the new housing construction, towards the town centre. Turn right into Forth Street.

Take a right turn into Roseberry Terrace and follow the road around the left bend until you reach Riverside Primary on your right.

The pool is opposite the school just off Edward Road with steps up to the door.

Enter by the doors and immediately in front of you are the changing room entrances

Entrance and Parking
From Forrest road enter pool grounds. Enter the building via the main doors and turn right. Entry to the pool is via the changing rooms.

Pool: 18m x 3 lanes
Average Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius
Depth ~ Shallow End: 1m Deep End: 1.5m

Changing Rooms
Separate male and female changing rooms with showers to either side of pool. The pool entrance is via the changing rooms on to the poolside through the footbath.

Meeting Point
Please meet the lesson co-ordinator at the main entrance to the pool side. Children will be returned to main entrance at the end of the lesson.

Viewing
At this facility viewing of classes by parents is permitted only at the shallow end in the seating area. Parents are free to communicate with the lesson co-ordinator with regards to their child's progress. However, we politely request that parents do not attempt to communicate with their child while the lesson is in progress. In addition, please remain silent while watching the classes.

Hygiene
Children must shower, blow their noses and go to the toilet before entering the pool.
Personal Equipment

Compulsory:
Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts are allowed as they restrict leg movement.
All children must wear their SwimEasy swim cap to prevent distractions and for pool cleanliness.
Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting preferably one size smaller than normal.
