Entrance and Parking
As you enter the school grounds; the parking areas are on your left and continue round
the corner. Enter the school by the main entrance, where you will be required to check in.
Then go past reception, keeping left and go through the first blue door on your left hand
side. Follow the stairs down and once on the ground floor, turn right in to the corridor.
The changing rooms are directly in front of you. Access to the pool is through the
changing areas. Click on map for location.

Pool: 18m x 4 lanes
Average Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius
Depth: 1.2m throughout


Changing Rooms
Communal changing rooms with some cubicles. Separate shower area.


Meeting Point
Children will be met by the pool coordinators at the entrance to the pool. Children will be
returned to this area at the end of the lesson. Children should assemble down the left hand
side of the pool before the lesson begins. Children are escorted to their stations by the
teacher.


Viewing
Parents are permitted on poolside on any week. There are also cafeteria facilities
available on the first floor for parents to sit. The rule at this venue is that all belongings
must be removed from the changing areas during the lessons. If parents are coming on to
poolside, there is a cupboard area for belongings to be stored. If parents are going to the
cafeteria, belongings must be taken with them upstairs. Parents are free also to
communicate with the lesson co-coordinator regarding their child's progress.


Hygiene
All children must shower, blow their noses and go to the toilet before entering the pool.


Personal Equipment
Compulsory:
Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts to be worn as they restrict leg movement.
SwimEasy swim caps must be worn to prevent distractions and for reasons of pool
cleanliness.
Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting.
