Facilities

A brand new 25 yards x 5 lane pool, opened in May 2012. A fantastic venue offering excellent changing and viewing facilities and ample free parking.

Blue covers must be worn over outdoor shoes in the changing rooms or bare feet. After changing, including having hat and goggles firmly fitted, parents/guardians should pack all belongings and take to them to the viewing area with them; this allows the changing areas to be free for the next class coming in. 

Entrance and Parking

From the main road enter through school gates follow the drive round by turning right along the front of the school follow on to turn left into a playground and the pool is situated on your right hand side. A sign on the wall indicates the pool. Parking should only be within allocated spaces. It is important to remember that this is a school facility and it is essential that drivers adhere to the speed limits while in the school grounds. Consideration at all times must be made in respect of the pupils attending our classes and the pupils within the school.   

Meeting Point

After changing, parents/guardians should drop their children off at the changing room's poolside entrance where they will be met by their Progress Advisor; children will be returned to these entrances at the end of the lesson. Venue rules dictate that no parents/guardians are permitted on poolside at any time; our Progress Advisors will come into the Reception area to speak with parents/guardians at some point during each lesson period.
 

Viewing

It is a strict rule at this facility that no parents are permitted onto the poolside for safety, noise, insurance and space reasons. Parents can view their child’s progression from the modern comfortable lounge/reception area through large picture windows onto poolside; tea/coffee vending machines are also available in this area.  Parents are free to communicate with the lesson Progress Advisor with regards to their child’s progress. SwimEasy has sole use of the pool facilities during its Lesson Programmes. 

Hygiene

Before entering the poolside it is very important that all children shower and blow their noses as our teachers will ask them to blow water out through their nose and mouth during their lessons. To minimise disruption to classes, and ensure maximum safety of the children at all times, we ask that all children go to the toilet before entering the water.

Personal Equipment

Compulsory

Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts are allowed as they restrict leg movement.
All children must wear a swim cap to prevent distractions and for pool cleanliness.
Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting preferably one size smaller than normal.
