# SwimEasy

> SwimEasy is Scotland's oldest independent provider of swimming lessons, delivering a structured, multi-stage swimming programme for babies, toddlers, children and adults across Edinburgh, Forth Valley (Falkirk, Larbert, Linlithgow) and Glasgow. Classes are taught in small groups by qualified teachers, following a progressive "Passport to Successful Swimming" pathway from SwimBabies through to pre-competition standard.

SwimEasy has been delivering swimming tuition for over 30 years and is associated with Scottish Swimming. Teachers hold ASA Level 1/2 Teaching of Swimming qualifications and are Enhanced Disclosure Scotland PVG checked. Classes run on a continuous rolling programme (not fixed terms), interrupted only by school holidays, with 36 lessons per academic year. Holiday "RapidTrack" crash courses also run during February, April, July, August and October half-terms/holidays.

- [SwimBabies](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/swimbabies/): Parent-and-baby water bonding classes from age 4 months, building early water confidence through songs, games and circuits, taught by the same teacher each week. Age stages: New Born, Baby 1 (4-10 months), Baby 2 (11-17 months), Baby 3 (18-24 months). Available in Edinburgh and Forth Valley/Linlithgow.
- [SwimTots](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/swimtots/): Parent-and-toddler classes for children aged around 2-3 years, bridging the gap between baby classes and the main learn-to-swim programme, focused on water confidence and movement rather than formal stroke technique. Available in Edinburgh and Forth Valley/Linlithgow.
- [Pre-School Non-Swimmer](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/pre-school-non-swimmer/): Entry-level class for young children who cannot yet travel in the water unaided. Focuses on water confidence, blowing bubbles, submerging, pushing off the wall and travelling up to 2 metres unaided. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.

Builds water confidence, introduces breaststroke and dolphin kick and frontcrawl arm action, and works towards travelling 5 metres with help. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.

Introduces jump entries, pushing off underwater, streamlined kicking and side breathing, progressing towards 10 metres on front and back. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.
- [Learner](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/learner/): For children confident going fully underwater in deeper water. Develops streamlined push-offs, treading water, diving and swimming 10-15 metres across multiple strokes. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.
- [Improver](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/improver/): For children who can swim 3 strokes with basic technique. Builds tumble turns, 20-metre kicking on all four strokes, and swimming up to 50 metres. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.
- [SwimWell](https://www.swimeasy.co.uk/portfolio/swimwell/): Advanced stage for children who can swim/kick 50 metres efficiently on 3 strokes. Refines all four competitive strokes (front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly) and introduces distance and speed work, preparing swimmers for club-level swimming. Available in Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Glasgow.
