From the heart I write this message

Hello Swim Families,

As we dive into another exciting season of children’s swimming lessons across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Falkirk, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared over the past 27 years. Our passion has always been about more than just teaching children how to swim; it’s about equipping them with lifelong skills that reach far beyond the pool.

Every splash, every stroke, and every milestone achieved by your children fills our hearts with pride. Our swimming lessons aren’t just about technique; they’re about building confidence, resilience, and friendships that will last a lifetime. We’re not just a swim school in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Falkirk; we’re a community where extraordinary young people flourish and inspire one another.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all of you—our dedicated families and young swimmers. Your commitment fuels our passion and drives us to create an environment where every child in our swimming lessons can thrive. The stories of growth and achievement that emerge from our swim schools are what make us truly special. Each child who learns to swim, each parent who cheers them on, and each teacher who encourages and commits adds a new chapter to our story.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re not just teaching swimming; we’re nurturing future leaders, athletes, and adventurers. It amazes me to look back on the many athletes we have nurtured through our programs in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Falkirk—from early development levels all the way to the World Championships and the Olympics.

I recently visited one of our pool venues and had the pleasure of seeing our dedicated teachers and young swimmers learning and enjoying themselves. I spoke with a few parents about how much I still love (even after all these years) watching and helping their children grow through swimming.

Every Sunday morning, I am actively involved at our pool venues, bringing the same enthusiasm to our adult and child SwimTots classes. In these sessions, I sing, dance, and guide parents and toddlers, ensuring they learn how to stay safe in the water. This is, after all, our primary aim—helping children in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, and beyond become strong and safe swimmers with confidence in every stroke.

With all my heart, thank you for trusting us with your child’s swimming education.

Yours Swimcerely,
Gail Smith
