What We Offer
World Class Standards
SwimEasy Graduates

Our swimming lessons in Edinburgh are delivered each week by some of the best swimming instructors/teachers in the country.

Our swimming teachers include current and former competitive swimmers, school teachers, and parents. They have the skill and expertise to deliver classes to the highest standards, with a strong focus on technique.

Our swimmers learn the correct foundations for each stroke, so your child not only learns how to be safe in the water but also complex swimming skills that stay with them for life.

By delivering a flexible and progressive swimming lessons programme, your child will learn to swim in an effective manner that will allow them to achieve their potential.

Children who attend our swimming lessons in Edinburgh develop a better understanding of the sport and often choose to go onto competitive club swimming.

Mums and dads of SwimEasy children are amazed at the difference in the quality of our lessons compared to what they have seen or experienced before. A combination of outstanding teachers, a solid and progressive programme and an understanding of the sport at the highest level is what makes us believe we can deliver the best swimming lessons to your children.

Children who progress from our programme often go into other aquatic sports like diving, synchro, water polo, kayaking, triathlon, rowing, sailing. Others even come back to SwimEasy in young adulthood to become swimming teachers and coaches.

When it comes to swimming lessons, it can be difficult to understand how one swimming lesson company differs from the other. So, what makes SwimEasy different from any other swimming lesson provider?

We pride ourselves on understanding the sport of swimming better than anyone, which is what makes us the market leader. This is instilled in our teachers, too. They don’t simply have a teaching qualification; they truly understand swimming to the highest levels. After all, swimming is their lifestyle!

Our unique Passport to Successful Swimming is what your child will follow in SwimEasy lessons. As well as laying out a progressive programme to ensure step-by-step learning, the Passport system motivates your child through achievement.

Your child is rewarded for mastering a specific skill and is progressed to the next level and stage when they are ready, not at the end of the term. This unique way of learning swimming has been attempted by other swim schools, but never mastered quite like the SwimEasy way.

As well as the Passport system, your child is rewarded with a certificate and cap as they progress through each swimming stage of the Passport.

Whether your child is a non-swimmer and needs help building water confidence or they are ready to progress onto more advanced technique work, we offer a variety of swimming classes in venues across Edinburgh, Scotland.

SwimEasy lessons in Edinburgh operate to the highest standard. In fact, we’re confident you’ll have never seen swimming classes to this standard in any Scottish pool before.

The progressive nature of our programme and teaching standards set children up for success in the sport of swimming. In fact, some of our SwimEasy graduates have gone on to major international success at the World & European Championships and Commonwealth Games.

Gail Smith, SwimEasy MD, has seen her son, Lewis, swim two Commonwealth Games, picking up a silver in Delhi. Lewis has competed at the World Championships in Rome and won a bronze medal at the World University Games.

The children in our lessons have been fortunate to benefit from Lewis’ expertise and wealth of experience.

Unlike other swimming lessons providers, we don’t buy a name to promote our success. We actually produce the names people want to buy. There have been numerous successful swimmers who have learned how to swim with SwimEasy and have seen great national success, at Scottish and British championships.

Some, though, have seen great international success. Craig McNally has represented Scotland at the Delhi and Glasgow Commonwealth Games and narrowly missed out on both the London and Rio Olympic Games.

Craig Hamilton represented GB at the World Open Water Championships in 2009 and has seen success overseas having attended university in Louisiana on a sports scholarship.

Megan Briggs and George Clough have been hugely successful throughout their age group swimming careers and continue to develop as they break through to senior swimming. Both have been crowned national champions and competed in major international junior competitions.

SwimEasy is Scotland's largest independent swimming lesson provider and is continuing to grow in Edinburgh. Our flexible and progressive programme allows your child to progress through our ability stages at each venue. We can cater for siblings in the same time slot, at different ability stages making it easy for mum and dad.
