As a parent, one of the greatest joys is watching your child learn and grow. But when it comes to kids swimming lessons, how do you see their progress in a clear, tangible way? If your child is new to our programme, we have a time-tested answer: The SwimEasy Passport to Successful Swimming.
This isn’t just an administrative booklet; it’s your window into your child’s exciting learn to swim journey. Each level within the Passport is carefully designed to build skills step-by-step, celebrating every milestone with stickers and positive encouragement. It’s a powerful tool that proudly focuses on what your child CAN DO, building their confidence in the water from their very first lesson.
More Than a Booklet: A Motivational Swimming Tool
We encourage you to think of the Passport as a key part of your child’s swimming kit. It’s a powerful motivational tool that helps children (and parents!) see just how far they’ve come, turning abstract progress into concrete children’s swimming achievements.
To make the most of it, please bring your Passport to every lesson so our teachers can provide updates and award new achievements. The booklet is designed to be strong, waterproof, and non-rip, but a little care goes a long way. We recommend drying it off each week to keep it in great condition as a treasured keepsake.
A Legacy of Confidence: A Story from Westminster
At SwimEasy, one of the most enduring parts of our history is the Passport to Successful Swimming. For more than three decades, every child who has come through our doors has carried this little booklet, charting their progress and capturing the milestones that mark their unique swimming journey.
Recently, our founder was reminded of just how powerful that simple Passport has been. He attended a meeting with a young Member of Parliament to discuss community support. When the MP arrived, his first words were:
“Who? SwimEasy? I learned to swim with SwimEasy!” With a smile, he went on to say, “I must get my Dad to look out my Passport, I’m sure he still has it.”
It was an incredible moment. A person now sitting in Westminster still remembers not only his SwimEasy teacher but also the swimming progress tracker he carried as a child. That little book was never just about swimming; it was about pride, confidence, and the positive memories our children carry with them long after they’ve left the pool.
The Passport continues to be at the heart of the SwimEasy experience today: a trusted guide for parents, a motivator for children, and a reminder that learning to swim is a journey worth celebrating.
