Bursaries for Local Families in North Edinburgh and Beyond!
SwimEasy is starting 2026 with great news. We are launching new swimming lessons in North Edinburgh. We want to help children learn essential life skills. So, we have created a special bursary scheme.
Breaking Down Financial Barriers We have just 9 bursary places left for families in the area. These spaces are fully funded. This means families get a full year of regular swimming lessons for free.
These lessons are for children aged 4 to 8 years old. This is the best age to build confidence in the water. We want to make sure money does not stop a child from learning to swim. SwimEasy uses a “no stigma” approach. Every child is equal in the pool. They will learn, play, and make friends together.
Location and Times We want to make these lessons in North Edinburgh easy to reach. They will take place at Craigroyston Community High School.
You can choose from two times:
- Tuesday evenings
- Saturday mornings
This offers flexibility for busy families.
A Powerful Community Partnership: We are not doing this alone. SwimEasy has teamed up with two amazing charities:
- The Darcey Sunshine Foundation: They focus on water safety and the joy of swimming.
- The Spartans Community Foundation: A key part of the North Edinburgh community. They support local families and youth.
We are combining SwimEasy’s expert teaching with the support of Spartans and the Darcey Sunshine Foundation. Together, we will give these children a skill for life.
