If you’ve just booked into SwimEasy lessons for the first time, then your child is about to be taught by some of the best teachers in the country. Shortly, you will receive a special welcome pack in the post, which contains the Passport to Successful Swimming. We encourage you to sit down with your child and go through the welcome pack; it’s all part of the excitement!
Before your child’s first lesson, it is often useful that they are aware they are going to be part of a group class with new children and a new teacher. This helps to prepare them before going to an unfamiliar environment. Most children, however, settle in straight away and are comfortable in the lessons.
In order to avoid disruption of lessons, we ask that you ensure your child has been to the toilet and has blown their nose. As our teachers will have a class right before, your child should enter poolside with cap (with name on) and goggles on and Passport in hand. This also helps for our staff to easily identify your child.
If there is a parent viewing area, we ask that you wait there throughout the lesson. Should you have any question regarding the progress of your child, you can approach our Progress Adviser at the start of lesson and they will be delighted to help. Our Progress Advisers (PAs) can be spotted wearing blue t-shirts.
On behalf of our teaching staff, we look forward to teaching your child to swim.
