Our swimming lessons for babies and children in Linlithgow (near Falkirk) are offered at Donaldson’s School. Many people looking for good swimming lessons in Stirling find this a particularly handy venue.

Our teachers teach the popular SwimBabies and SwimTots classes each Sunday morning here with mums and dads enjoying the warmth the pool offers. Most of the toddlers progressing from SwimTots prefer to join our main programme of lessons at Donaldson’s School on Tuesdays and Wednesday, where we teach group lessons with low class sizes.  We also offer 1 to 1 and 1 to 2 lessons on a Monday.

As mum and dad, you can benefit from being able to watch your child progress from the poolside viewing area. There are separate male and female changing areas at this pool, with dry changing rooms for use prior to your child’s lesson and wet changing rooms for use after.

Pool Information

Size: 18 metres x 4 lanes

Average Temperature: 29 degrees Celcius

Depth: 1.2m throughout

Changing Rooms:

Communal Changing: Individual cubicles available.

Hygiene: Our teachers really love it when children blow their noses and go to the toilet before the start of lessons. This tends to avoid any unwanted surprises and causes minimum disruption to the lessons!

Meeting Point

The meeting point is the main corridor where swimmers will be brought to poolside by Progress Advisor via allocated numbers.

Viewing the Pool

Parents are permitted on poolside on rotation each week. Once the lesson has started, parents will be invited on to poolside. They will then be asked to go back to the changing rooms 5 minutes before the lesson end. The rule at this venue is that all belongings must be removed from changing areas during the lessons. Parents are free to communicate with the lesson Progress Advisor regarding their child’s progress.

Personal Equipment

Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts are allowed as they restrict leg movement.
All children must wear their SwimEasy swim cap to prevent distractions and for pool cleanliness.
Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting preferably one size smaller than normal.
