Currie Community High School

Once children are changed they can take a seat on the pool deck and wait to be collected by their teacher.

There are poolside benches recessed just off the pool deck with limited viewing to allow parents to view the lessons. We ask that pool shoe covers are worn in the changing facility and on poolside; this keeps it nice and clean for all our teachers and swimmers.

Compulsory:

Eye goggles must be worn to allow for clear vision.
No baggy shorts are allowed as they restrict leg movement.
All children must wear their SwimEasy swim cap to prevent distractions and for pool cleanliness.
Swimming Costumes must be tight fitting preferably one size smaller than normal.

Please access the swimming pool via the sports centre entrance at the side of the school.

All children may be brought into the building by one parent only (this applied to families of more than one child also). Parents of children under 8 years of age may enter the changing rooms and remain poolside throughout the lesson.

Parents of children aged 8 and over must remain in the corridor and cannot come poolside for the duration of the lesson.
