Born in a sports family in Ukraine, my dad was swimmer as I, and have swam all my life. I moved to Edinburgh 1.5 years ago. Moving to Edinburgh from Ukraine due to the war has been a difficult transition, but it’s been wonderful to find fulfilment in work at SwimEasy. SwimEasy has provided me with a meaningful opportunity during a challenging time. Working at SwimEasy for the past 1.5 years has been a truly rewarding experience for me. My background as a lifelong swimmer undoubtedly brings a wealth of experience and passion to my role, allowing me to connect with the children I work with on a deeper level. Hailing from Ukraine, I have found immense joy in witnessing the progress and achievements of the children I work with. It fills my heart with happiness to see them overcome challenges, learn new skills, and reach their goals in swimming. Being a part of their journey and growth has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives through my work at SwimEasy.
